In the Farm Store on our farm in Gouldsboro we sell the organic produce that is grown here. We are proud to offer you products made from the farm's organic fruits and vegetables. All our organic preserves are made in the new state certified kitchen.

In addition we sell a variety of nice hand-made things produced here on the farm as well as by some of our friends.

Cynthia Thayer has been a mainstay of the organic farming, fiber arts, and literary communities in Downeast Maine for 30 years.

As active members of MOFGA (Maine Ogranic Farmers and Gardeners Association) since its earliest years, Cindy and Bill have been involved in many of the programs that have contributed to the sucess of that group.

Cynthia is an active author and her third book, A Brief Lunacy, is available on the 2009 Holiday Catalog on this web site.

Bill Thayer manages the farm animals at Darthia Farm. His teams of horses do much of the heavy chores on the farm and in the woodlots.

In addition, Bill keeps all the other farm equipment in working order.

During the Common Ground Fair, Bill and his team of horses give wagon rides to visitors to the fair. And of course his sleigh rides at Darthia Farm have become an annual tradition for many families.
