Order Particulars:

1. All prices include shipping by UPS and gift packaging.  Our gift card will be including in each package if requested below.

2. Please place orders by December 9.   Orders will be shipped the week of December 7 unless indicated otherwise below (optional ship dates Week of November 23 or November 30). No orders shipped before Thanksgiving.

3. Orders shipped within Maine will be charged 5% sales tax for non food items.

4. There is a $15 per item surcharge for orders shipped to Canada, Hawaii and PO boxes.

5. Your running order-total is shown real-time at the end of the item pictures.

6. Upon completion of the order form, but before clicking on 'submit', print it out for your records.
         (Right-click with the cursor anywhere on the page, then select 'print'.)

7. Hit the 'tab' key after entering quantity for each item. The 'tab' key also moves you smartly through the form...

8. For orders with more than 8 ship-to addresses please create another order.

9. A little trivia: If you ordered 1 of each item in the catalog, you would buy 22 items for $829. Pretty slick, huh?

If you've been to Darthia Farm, you can imagine Bill, walking through our organic woodlot over a thin dusting of snow, choosing tips of balsam fir, perfect pine cones, and rosehips, to decorate your home for the holidays.
1. Wreath
Our 22" double-faced wreath is handmade here at Darthia farm by Geri Valentine with fresh balsam from our organically managed woodlot.

6. Herb Jellies
We pick fresh herbs from our gardens and make them into delicious and unusual jellies. Included are purple basil, thyme, and mint. This old fashioned fruit is the first up every spring and we love its tart flavor. Rhubarb gives zing to everything we put it with. This gift is for the adventuresome who want to try everything. We’ve put together a sampler box of ten (10) 11/2 oz. jars of all kinds of different preserves. We packed our beautiful large wooden boxes with five pounds of beautiful fingerling potatoes. Small and tasty, these potatoes boil, bake, or fry, and make an elegant potato salad. 14. Picnic Basket
Again, we offer our picnic basket. We think this is the perfect gift for a family because it has something for everyone. We pack our jams, vinegars, and salsas in a reusable 15 1/2" X 7 1/2" X 11" basket with evergreen boughs and pinecones that can be used for decorating. We will include two jams and two vinegars. Then select lots of goodies like honey, tomatillo salsa, mustard, a jar of salve. If you'd like, we will include a package of our pancake mix. Let us know if you have any special requests. We have taken a pair of very beautiful and unusual spiral hand dipped candles made by our young entrepreneur neighbor, Pepin Mittlehauser, a jar of Maine honey, and a jar of Schoodic Salve made here at Darthia Farm, and boxed them in a festive giftbox for you to give. This package will delight your friends and family. 17. Indigo, Madder and Natural Black Yarn
We grow our own indigo at Darthia Farm so we can dye our yarns a beautiful indigo blue. We use centuries old methods of dyeing and spinning to send you this very rare yarn. This year we offer a 2 oz. skeins of indigo dyed yarn, madder root dyed yarn, and natural black yarn, grown, dyed, and spun at the farm, for your knitting pleasure. This is a great gift for a knitter, weaver, hooker, or someone who just loves color and fiber. We've put together ten skeins (5 oz.) of various fibers and colors - wool, mohair, angora, in natural black/brown/grey, indigo dyed, cochineal dyed, natural white, madder dyed. 19. Fruitcake
It's back! This is no ordinary "butt of many jokes" fruitcake. Cynthia's been making them for friends and family for over 50 years. A white cake packed with dried fruit, almonds, coconut, brandy & sherry, wrapped in brandy-soaked muslin, ready to delight a drop-in holiday visitor. Packed with colorful waxed paper and foil in our wooden box. This will keep, wrapped in brandy, for a year, if you don't eat it. Our shortbread cookies contain only three ingredients: organic butter, organic flour, and organic sugar. The recipe was brought to Nova Scotia from Scotland by Cynthia's great grandparents and will keep for months if you don't eat them all.
