Emma Nelson
Emma came to the farm in mid April as a WWOOFer. This means that she was coming to live on the farm for a few weeks as a willing worker in order to experience farm life and downeast Maine for a short time. After a few weeks she decided she'd rather stay the season. She is now our sole apprentice and we are fortunate to have her contributing to the farmscape this year with her hands and heart. When she's not in the barn or gardens, you can find her capturing the special light of fog with her camera, knitting a hat, or singing in the Schoodic Summer Chorus.
