Update from the Gardens

We are in a bit of a waiting game here at the farm and right now we are not winning.  We have many seedlings and seeds that have been ready to get in the ground since the solstice and the conditions have not presented themselves.  A day or two without rain is simply not enough to allow us into the garden for planting, especially when we are trying to recover from rain events that are bringing water levels almost to the tops of the hills of squash.  So far, the seedlings seem to be holding tight for us, and perhaps our window of opportunity will arrive in the coming week.
