Update from the Gardens
There are some seriously happy plants on the farm right now. The fall brassicas (broccoli, cabbage, brussels, cauliflower) and the late green bean and shelling bean planting are very pleased with the weather conditions we've been having. After we created a fishing line barrier around the garden, we have had no deer infiltration and these plants are bursting with life. It's a pleasure to see plants that are not stressed out by either flood or drought conditions. The dyer's coreopsis is thriving in the flower garden where many early transplants did not due to the early soggy weather. Look for their faces with open eyes as you pull up to the farm store.
