Update From the Gardens
This has been an interesting spring to follow in the gardens. An early warm streak in March allowed us to get an extra early planting germinating in one of the high tunnel greenhouses. A consistantly cool April favored those plantings and allowed for garden prep throughout the farm, but a slow start to outdoor plantings. The recent hot streak caused bolting and stress in early plantings of arugula and salad greens, bringing them to an end. There will likely be a gap in harvest between the end of early greens and the coming of outdoor garden crops.
